Beads and Basketball: A Journey Through Arts & Culture!

In celebration of Black History Month, Elfrid Payton brought Mardi Gras to the Valley through a fun night of arts and culture leading with Black community leaders in Phoenix, Arizona! The Mardi Gras Indian Mohawk Hunters tribe of the Westbank joined and shared history of masking traditions which are grounded in African cultural expressions along with canvas painting, prize giveaways, food and music!
